I'm sipping my coffee and watching the sleeting rain slowly turning into snow. The mountains are hidden by the clouds and I'm feeling almost like I am in a cocoon and I am ready to break free and find Spring when I emerge.

I finished this the other day, although I have not sealed it yet. It is a mix of acrylics, gold foil, glitter, Pearl-Ex, some paper leaves, tissue paper and a rubber stamp. The pictures don't really do it justice and I just love how it turned out. It is very warm and rich.

What a busy day today. We went to the Springs for dinner (Lobsterfest.. Yuuuum!) and then went to the IMAX to see Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3D. It was a cute movie, definitely a buyer. Before the movie we went to a Jo-Ann's that was just across the street and I got to run through the store quickly, but it was enough time for me to grab a few things lol. I got some awesome papers that I can't wait to use and some other little things I have been needing.

Here is my newest panting, I've named it Spirit. To me it symbolizes our journey after death back to Source. I love all the blues, now I just have to figure out where I'm going to hang it. lol.

Last night I picked up the cutest pink and purple cupcakes to take pictures of. Yes, I know that probably makes me a huge geek that I would buy something like that just to take pictures of them.. but eh.. whatever.. lol. Whatever makes a person happy, ya know? :) I am very pleased with how some of the pictures came out and I think they would make a great series.. The Cupcake Chronicles.. lol

This was an Altoids tin or maybe it was a Scriptures mints tin, I forget which. lol Anyway I really had a lot of fun making it and plan to do several more soon.
I made this bracelet the other night, I thought Snowdrops was a perfect name for it. Not only is is white and sparkly which reminds me of a snowy morning here in Colorado when everything glitters like a fairy land, but it was also snowing when I made it and I was wishing for spring and thinking of those pretty little snowdrop flowers. :)
